“A great rum! You can feel the initial strength of the alcohol, but the aromas that come after a while are well marked and you don't have to sniff the glass for too long. A firm, old-fashioned rum. On the palate, in addition to a fruity and vegetal component (where olives stand out), this aftertaste of solvents/esters never unpleasant stands out. Very long finish where in turn all the previously perceived flavors are felt. Predominant on the finish is a hint of peat/smoky always accompanied by solvents/esters.Unique!Velier nailed it! Long live Velier!”
