To Labourdonnais
Color: Old gold Aroma: Sweet, fresh, light and fruity (apple). Also alcoholic with vanilla aromas. Taste: Sweet, mild, then alcoholic-spicy with time. Spicy on the swallow, fermented fruit, cheap sherry, fig, caramel. Finish: Medium length Spicy Fermented fruit, then becomes increasingly bitter and unpleasant. Dry, woody and bitter-fruity aftertaste. 69 points
Relatively lively both on the nose and in the finish, which shouldn't really be the case given the ABV. At the same time, a fresh note of apple on the nose. Quite ok for in between
Original impressions from 2017 rum calendar. Nose: * Taste: * Overall: * This is not my cup of tea(rum). Very alcoholic taste almost like tequila or whiskey. Nose has hints of anise or maybe licorice but I cannot find them in the taste.
Dobry mało słodki, krótki finisz
