Geruch: Jung, frisch, zunächst fruchtig nach Apfel, dann pflanzlich. Zuckerrohr und fauliges Obst. Grasige Aromen dominieren, zudem Eukalyptus und Anis. Geschmack: Dezent süß im Mund, etwas Karamell und Zuckerrohr, dann immer würziger und nach Kräutern. Würzig beim Schlucken nach Pfeffer und Lakritze. Kräuter-Aromen rücken komplett in den Vordergrund.. Abgang: Mittellang und ein bisschen eigenartig. Würzig, scharf, alkoholisch und medizinisch. Trocken mit zu lange gezogenem bitterem Kräutersud im Nachgeschmack. Fazit: Wieder ein Rum, bei dem der Jahrgang (Millésime) von dem Datum abweicht,
#4214 This one is really well priced compared to what you get. Nice and fruity with wonderful Agricole notes with some added light wood and spices. The profile is light and I would have loved a higher ABV. Draws nice curtains and the empty glass has some medicinal and vegetal notes.
A nice Agricole from savanna, with a profile all their own, this isn't the West Indies. It's more vegetal and the cognac breeding adds a lot of sweetness. It's really not bad, but it's not the type of agricole I prefer. Basically, Savanna isn't what I'd go for.
