"Overall a very special Agricole quite far from the ones from the Caribbean, thanks to the medicinal nuances together with the strong aromas and tastes of Cognac. This rum from the Savanna distillery in Reunion is a 7 yo single cask distilled in their Creol still in 2002 that after some rest was put in a ex-Cognac cask in 2004 and bottled in 1032 numbered bottles at ABV 46% in 2012, so it’s in fact 7 years and 5 months old."
"27.06.2020 Tasting at the office with my colleagues. Notes Light to medium dark in colour. Nose Light, sweet, fruity, light wood, faint cognac, light smoke,, citrus Palate Light, sweet, fruity, light wood, citrus, cognac, light medicinal, faint chocolate, faint strawberry. . Finish Medium long, cognac, light wood, light citrus, faint chocolate, light medicinal."
"Overall very harmonious agricole but very easy drinking. In the taste and aftertaste, the fruity notes clearly fade. A lot of cognac influence, which I like."
"Very and intense for only 46%"
