"02.10.2016 - 03.10.2016 A great extended weekend with rum friends. This was a nice event and lots of space between the tables. Only problem was the level of English at some of the exhibitors. I will start with the rums we brought ourselves and then add the ones we tried at the event. Notes Medium to dark in colour. Nose Elegant, balanced, wood, light roasted, sweet, light floral, dried fruit. Palate Smooth, oily, elegant, wood, light roasted, dried fruit, light citrus, light floral, earthy, light chocolate. Finish Medium to long, oily, elegant, balanced, fruity, light citrus, faint floral."
"Huge rum, a gorgeous nose but far less gorgeous than the mouth, textured, pervasive and delicious. The finish is very long, always very greedy. Huge"
"On the nose roasted hazelnuts, dried fruit, vegetal/floreal, chocolate and a bit of tobacco. On the palate it is soft as a cloud, spicy notes, a hint of citrus and plumeria, soft roasted hazelnuts, gianduja and a fine woodiness to round it out. Lively and light finish (Overall, it does not deviate much from the 19yr, perhaps by half a point)."
"A great, perfectly balanced rum"
