“Demeroni ! Je rêvais de goûter la bête ! Merci Rodolphe pour le sample. Au nez de l’atelier mécanique typique de Caroni, pas d’erreur, mais ensuite des fruits tropicaux et de l’orange qui font plutôt penser à la Jamaïque. En bouche l’orange ressort, mais le côté Caroni vient tout de suite après. En finale un peu d’amertume, des fruits et un côté fumé/boîte de cigares. Pas grand chose de Demerara dans ce rhum à part en finale. Goûté avec un gâteau d’anniversaire aux marrons et… accord parfait ! Que s’est-il passé ? Sans doute un fût de Caroni/Monymusk égaré chez DDL. Passionnant ! Le verre vide du lendemain offre des arômes de Demerara, à ne plus rien y comprendre…”
