"Nicaragua goes Jamaica. Ein guter Sipper. Erinnert mich an den Velier Antigua."
"Fruity-floral nose. In front lovely lemon with tangerine, behind it apple and some grape. There is also a fine smoke note through, cold cigar smoke, but only very gently and in addition some spicy vanilla. Light sweetness of honey and sugar syrup but determine the smell.Palate: acts despite the almost 50% somewhat thin. Have as first again this light cigar smoke, followed by slightly bitter lime peel. Also reminds of a white wine with some grape and apple. Out the back it turns greenish, tastes a bit like flower stalks. I don't quite like the Spanish style, unfortunately. The age makes this one a bit more interesting though."
"Another very nice rum from Silver Seal and its not that expensive actually. The nose starts of on a floral note with a bit of herbal touches. Then you have fruit and vanilla followed by a hint of chocolate, coffee and nuts. The palate is creamy with fruits and spices followed by a nice mix of sugar, caramel, tobacco and flowers. At the end there is a nice oaky twist to it. The finish is long and warm with licorice and tobacco topped with some nice oak. "
"A very decent Nicaragua. Some weird complexities. But all in all a good cask selection from silver seal. This needed a lot of time to change to the better. This is however unfortunately not the standard for Nicaragua..."
