“In der Nase eine tolle Harmonie aus (grünen) Früchten und holziger Würze. Nach einer Stunde Standzeit entwickelt sich eine herrliche Komplexität, an der man ewig schnuppern könnte. Am Gaumen elegant, würzig und (trotz der Reduzierung) nicht zu dünn. Sehr trocken. Dazu kommen ein paar florale Noten. Der Abgang ist leider relativ unspektakulär und kann das hohe Niveau der Nase nicht ganz halten. Ein Stück flüssige Geschichte! Für eine Top-Bewertung ist der Abgang jedoch zu dünn und mir fehlt das gewisse Etwas.”

“This is a spot on rum and I really like the roasted oak from nose to finish. Wonderfully fruity with spices. It does benefit from resting 15-20 minuttes. A big surprise having the opportunity to taste such an old rum.”
