“This version is slightly different than the regular 12 year old and the Madeira Cask aging has definitely smoothed this limited edition. The nose is wonderful and you just want to sit there and keep on enjoying the nose. The palate is woody with oak on the dominant side and fruit and spices coming into the mix a close number two. There is a bit of port/red wine to the palate. The finish is long and oaky with lots of fruit to it.”

“Round and quaffable number, surprisingly dry despite Madeira finish. Personally, it is just a little too thin and woody in the finish. The madeira influence could be much more intense for me.”
