27.04.2019 A relaxing evening with good samples and bottles and a few friends. Notes. Light to medium dark colour. Nose: fresh, wood, roasted, pineapple, spice, grass. Palate: light, wood, roasted, banana, vegetal, anise, pepper. Finish: medium long, wood, dry, light leather, fruits. Extra note: a lot of wood in the profile.
A birth year rum that I feel very privileged to try. It has complexity and some nice flavours but it tasted a little bitter and the low abv has stopped some of the good flavours from really coming out.
