The "1982" was produced in Guadeloupe at the Gardel distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler Moon Import. It was distilled in 1982 from Sugar cane juice with a Column Still and then aged for 18 years. The rum has an ABV of 46%. "24.10.2009 at O'Malleys Sportsbar in Shanghai. This bar is unfortunately no more. It was a great place where we often went to relax and socialise. Notes. Nice dark in colour. Nose: roasted wood, caramel, vanilla leather, earthy. Palate: oily, spicy/warm, dry, roasted wood, intense, balanced. Finish: very long, woody, dried fruit, dry, spicy, tobacco."
