It was distilled in 1982 from Sugar cane juice with a Column Still and then aged for 18 years. The rum has an ABV of 46%. 24.10.2009 at O'Malleys Sportsbar in Shanghai. This bar is unfortunately no more. It was a great place where we often went to relax and socialise. Notes. Nice dark in colour. Nose: roasted wood, caramel, vanilla leather, earthy. Palate: oily, spicy/warm, dry, roasted wood, intense, balanced. Finish: very long, woody, dried fruit, dry, spicy, tobacco.
Reminds me of a Nine Leaves on the nose. I like it very much! But the final kick is missing.
Really good taste, unfortunately a few percentages are missing!
