“The tasted one here is from batch 002. Have also a bottle from batch 001, unopened. I tasted it the first time during my vacation in Antigua down at a restaurant in Falmouth Harbour. Thought that the nose was great, but the nose of the port version is even better. But nevertheless this is a great rum, well worth trying, that’s very complex and has a great finish.”

“Das Sherry-Finish ist bemerkbar und passt gut. Es ergibt sich ein runder, röstiger und nussiger Rum, dem aber die Intensität fehlt. Im Vergleich zum Port-Finish muss ich diesem Rum etwas schwächer einstufen. Dennoch ein sehr guter Preisleistungsrum, wie fast alles von English Harbour.”

“Ähnlich wie die anderen beiden finishes immer noch relativ bissig, was sicher dem Recht jungen Alter geschuldet ist aber insgesamt tut er nicht weh und ist relativ mild und ausgewogen. Sherry dominiert hier nicht zu sehr wie befürchtet... insgesamt ist der Port cask für mich von den 3 am gelungensten, dann kommt Sherry und dann Madeira. Schöne Reihe für den Preis!”
