The "Cigar Choice" was produced in Guadeloupe at the Gardel distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler Silver Seal. It was distilled in 1977 from Sugar cane juice with a Column Still and then aged for 32 years. The rum has an ABV of 50,8%. The rum smells like Woody, Leather and Intense, and on the palate there is Bitter, Woody and Intense.

Really nice release as well. Let there be wood and wood it was. But still very nicely balanced and the ABV integration is near perfection. The empty glass is really nice and the finish stays for a long time.
Lots of barrel notes, tannins, menthol and Christmas spices on the finish, but well integrated
