Initial smell of strong vanilla, caramel and clove. Some barrel. Also something sweet I can't put my finger on, like birthday cake icing or something. Definitely a little better than the basic Thomas Tew on the nose. Some strawberry. In the mouth a little lemon, more oak. Pretty nice for an American distilled rum. Light sweet finish, fairly short. Pours dark golden. Had a sample of this thanks to Kojimon.
