It was distilled in 2000 from Molasses with a Pot Still and then aged for 16 years. The rum has an ABV of 54,1%. Beautiful tropical fruit aromas with a pleasant spiciness. The ageing brings good depth without being too dominant. Somewhat alcoholic on the nose, but well integrated overall. Round and accessible, with a slight hint of glue and wood on the finish.
