"Oh boy, at this point I have barely anything to say. There is an army of these types of rum. And they are completely lost in me. Maybe they really excel with cigars but otherwise this is expensive sweetened rum I don't care too much for..."

"Time to finish up 1423's "24 days of Christmas". The rum from day 23, is from Cartavio. I find to have a nose of dried fruit and some wood. In the notes I found a well rounded sweetness, with hints of vanilla and caramel, and a wood and spicy finish."

"Nose: very Spanish. Caramel and burnt sugar. Not unpleasant per se. Hint of bitterness. Taste: peppery, more bitterness. Bitter orange. American oak. Not too sweet. Short finish. Better than expected."

"Sample no.23 of the 24 days of rum calendar 2023. Sweet rum with vanilla and honey on the nose, wood and dried raisins after a while. Taste is warm and sweet and with a subtle tone from the sherry casks. Sweet but a bit leathery and dry in the finish. Still a nice sipper but the XO is better."
