“This is a very good Cadenhead, probably one of the best ones they ever made. I can only recommend it if you can get a bottle, which would mean auction. The nose is wonderful kicking off with glue and some varnish before settling into fruits, nuts and coffee. A bit of wood in there as well. The palate picks up where the nose left off. Intense and complex and a bit oily. Nice curtains in the glass. Fruity with cocoa and coffee. In the back i get licorice, caramel, tea and wood. The finish is forever and fruity with spices the back has wood and burnt sugar.”

“Comes with the unique character of the old Demeraras - leather, tobacco, dried fruit and heavy sweetness meet a lot of wood and spicy heat. Complex with extremely well integrated alcohol - it does not get much better than this.”
