“Needs some time in the glass, but then the rum drives an impressive spectrum of spices, fruits, heavy sweetness and even some minerality. Seems like an EHP with a touch of Versailles, but this can probably only be speculated. In any case, an excellent drop.”

“RumX rarities jour 1. Un nez lourd et sombre, vernis et vieux bois mouillé. Il faut chercher les fruits tropicaux. Léger bourbon en arrière-plan. Le même côté lourd et sombre se retrouve en bouche. On descend sous terre, une cave voûtée avec un sol de terre battue, odeur de mystère et de vieille fumée. La finale est super longue sur le bois vernis mouillé. Un léger vanillé, mine de crayon et sucre brun se découvrent. J’adore ces rhums atypiques qui racontent une histoire. On est à mille lieues d’un rhum léger et facile à boire, mais ce que je fret rouge ici me fascine.”
