“This is one of the 3 releases of the XV and it's pretty good actually. The nose starts off with a lot of caramel, in a good way, then goes into candied fruits wit some oakiness to it. The palate continues with the fruits and some leather and spices. The Port cask is definitely there and I like it. The finish is medium to long, astringent with vanilla and sweetness to it. Price to quality is good.”

“Très joli nez pour ceux qui aime la cerise. Le fût de porto à transmis de belles douces notes à ce rhum. Une petite odeur de sirop de grenadine est tentante. Au palais grosse déception à prévoir selon moi, à 40% c’est trop trop réduit et il ne reste plus grand chose sinon un petit sirop…”
