"This is one of the 3 releases of the XV and it's pretty good actually. The nose starts off with a lot of caramel, in a good way, then goes into candied fruits wit some oakiness to it. The palate continues with the fruits and some leather and spices. The Port cask is definitely there and I like it. The finish is medium to long, astringent with vanilla and sweetness to it. Price to quality is good. "

"8:On the nose, aromas of vanilla, nuts (almond) and cherry are delicious. Classic caramel and tobacco are also present. 7,8:On the palate, the attack is soft but also intense and one might think that this rum is over 40°. Caramel, tobacco and nuts make up this gourmet profile. 8:The finish is long, with tobacco playing the leading role. Wood and almond try to take the spotlight, but are ultimately defeated."

"Oh wow, dieser Rum hat mich beeindruckt. In der Nase einen schönen Vanillegeruch, hinterher kommen dann noch Gewürze dazu. Im Gaumen auch ein schöner, leicht würziger Vanillegeschmack. Vernpnftige Süsse und gut eingebundenen Alkohol runden den guten Eindruck ab."
