Un rhum très gourmand qui tire profit de sa finition en fût de sauterne pour gagner en rondeur, notamment avec un profil sucré sur les fruits confits et tropicaux, l’abricot et la banane, le vin, la canne à sucre et le miel. Des notes épicées et presque beurrées viennent agrémenter ce nez très plaisant. On retrouve un rhum très doux en bouche, mais assez équilibré entre les fruits, le tabac, le caramel et les épices. Assez complexe et très gourmand, il se laisse boire facilement avec ses 41%. La finale est sur une longueur moyenne et apporte une touche toastée au rhum. Un bel exemple d’une finition réussie chez HSE.

Blindverkostung: die Nase erkennt direkt ein Agricole: etwas Grasigkeit, süßer Weißwein, Leder, Erde und Fasseinfluss mit schönen würzigen Apsekten. Trinkstärke am Gaumen mit ~43% und der wuchtigen Würze, die bereits in der Nase wahrnehmbar war. Leider finde ich am Gaumen, die für Agricole Rhums ausergewöhnliche Weißwein-Süße aus der Nase nicht wieder. Könnte auf ein Finish oder eine Geruchsverirrung meinerseits hindeuten ;-). Der Abgang ist mittellang und sehr würzig. Ein leckerer Agricole, nicht mehr und nicht weniger. Ich tippe auf einen Martinique Rhum aus Le Simon (Clément, HSE) mit ~43% und 9-12 Jahren (evtl. mit einem Süßweinfinish). 81 Punkte
