"The price tag for this bottle is pretty steep, but it really delivers. Heavy oak all the way without being too dominant. A very intense and well balanced rum and one I'd like to have on my shelf, so I may have to go hunting now. Besides the oak there is a lot of fruit and some spices with a touch of bourbon, licorice, coffee and cocoa/chocolate. A long wonderful smoky finish completes this almost perfect rum."
