"Very sweet with lots of vanilla and oak and noticeable alcohol - but not yet unpleasant. There is a lack of complexity and independence in the profile, so it is a pleasant rum without too many rough edges."

"Aucun doute, on est sur un ron, le nez est très typé : de la vanille mais surtout du miel, du toffee et du caramel ! Quelques arômes de bourbon et étrangement de la colle qui est assez inhabituelle dans les ron. En bouche, on s’éloigne du ron traditionnel, cela ne tire pas du tout sur la gourmandise sucrée mais on va dans le boisé, avec une 1ère attaque plutôt alcoolique ! On retrouve ensuite de la vanille avec un large éventail d’épices. Ainsi que de la noix de coco. La finale est moyennement longue et chaude. Sur cette finale, on trouve du boisé, des épices et une légère astringence"
