“23rd day in the Christmas calendar. Blind! Not at all clearly classifiable. Not at all typical Versailles...Nose: very fruity, almost floral. Foremost I have juicy, sweet pear. Some honey and delicately ripe tangerine. There's still something buttery, like raw cookie dough with some vanilla. Dry woody at the back, a touch peppery and quite a bit of fresh mint.Palate: quite different. Dry, spicy and a bit fruity, maybe grape. Woody with light licorice and a slight citrus note. But overall quite flat and not very intense. Too bad, the nose was clearly better.”

“This is unfortunately not exactly my favourite style of rum...I was happy to taste it, but I can smell the typical Guayna flavour of El Dorado...”
