“Another Blackadder performing pretty well thinking about the price tag. Very light in the overall profile but the ABV has been integrated really well. I do like the light floral note I got on the nose and palate. Spices and wood are in harmony and I was close to being tipsy when trying this one 😂”

“Tasted at Sanctus Spiritus ‘24, so my review remains rather concise. Accessible aromas of dried fruits, marzipan and crème fraîche on the nose, counterbalanced with malic acid. It’s so woody to the point it introduces dry cereal and pencil shavings. In the mouth a continuation of the nose, but as expected musty and dominated by barrel notes: woody, vanillated and peppered with dry chili flakes. The alcohol is unfortunately not integrated well. The finish is short, woody and tannic, leaving the mouth dry and longing for water.”
