7,4:On the nose it opens with fresh sugar cane juice and exotic fruits like papaya, guava or even melon. These fruits will ripen as the rum is aired, letting in light nuts and vanilla. The woodiness is also light, a little waxy and resinous. Aeration brings out gourmet and mature face with dried banana, fresh tobacco, yeast, even black tea and some perfumed notes. The woodiness is melted and slightly toasted, the spices are sweet-pepper and the orange peel, become caramelized, while cognac notes complete the picture on the nose. 7,2:On the palate it is rich, quite seductive. The citrus fruits begin their freshness, present themselves as a sweet marmalade with candied ginger shards. There is less sugar cane as on the nose. The mid-palate is very soft, the intensity goes down, but the aromas of waxy wood and dried fruits are really tasty. After rest, it is a bit iodized, bitter... 7,4:The finish is with sugar cane, woody, dry, with fresh tobacco, fruity, yeast and black tea, round and mellow...
Puh. Also zunächst 2 positive Punkte: 1.
