The "Jamaica Rum Single Cask LROK" was produced in Jamaica at the Hampden distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler Kingsbury. It was distilled in 2000 from Molasses with a Pot Still and then aged for 17 years. The rum has an ABV of 46% and the mark is LROK. This is a limited release and there are only 216 bottles.

“Mmh .... relativ unspektakulär aber dennoch lecker . Feuchtigkeit steht im Vordergrund... Alkohol nicht wahrnehmbar(sehr dünn) aber das HD Gen noch gut zu erkennen. Im Abgang etwas Bitterkeit aber alles allem ok aber nichts besonderes. Im Mai Tai überraschend gut . 3/5”

“Schönes Nase mit den typischen Hampden Noten von Estern, tropischen Früchten. Ananas etc. Leider kann der Geschmack nicht mithalten. Die starke Verdünnung killt den Rum zwar nicht, fährt das Ganze aber auf ein eher sanftes Niveau runter, das in die Belanglosigkeit abzurutschen droht. Es blitzen noch kurz Erdbeeren-Sahne-Bonbons auf und die Frage: Warum wurde ein offenkundig toller Rum so runter verdünnt?”
