“Very good representative of the already very convincing Hampden 1990 vintage. As expected, we encounter overripe tropical fruits, wood and spices - plus heavy sweetness, fresh green aromas and hints of meaty bacony notes. Excellent barrel selection.”

“Vielen Dank an DevidedByZero für das Sample. Nase: riecht streng nach Hampden, schon aus einiger Entfernung 😁 Ich finde eine coole Minznote und die ist irgendwie realistischer als ich sie von T.D.L oder alten KFM kenne. Am Gaumen kommt noch Rauch dazu und mal wieder verhältnismäßig wenig Fasseinfluss, sehr lecker! Der Nachklang ist lang und intensiv mit zusätzlich Rauch und Speck Ein toller Hampden aber ich müsste die 1990er und 1992er mal nebeneinander probieren um sagen zu können welcher besser ist und ich würde wetten, dass es jedes mal einen anderen Gewinner gibt! Was mich echt erstaunt ist, dass es unter diesen alten Abfüllungen anscheinend keine gibt, die zuviel Fass abbekommen haben.”
