“Un Trois Rivières légèrement plus aromatique que le Millésime 1999. Des notes terreuses de tabac viennent se mêler à la canne à sucre, aux fruits secs et aux épices douces présents au nez. La bouche est suave, bordée par les épices et le caramel, ce dernier apportant beaucoup de douceur au jus. La finale n’apporte pas vraiment d’arômes supplémentaires mais est relativement longue et fidèle à la trame au nez et en bouche. Ce n’est pas le plus complexe des Trois Rivières mais il est au-dessus de certaines cuvées dites plus « prestigieuses » sur le papier.”

“When looking at the price tag you get a lot for your money in my mind. A well balanced rum with nice fruits and spices. The wood is well balanced with the caramel and earthy notes. The empty glass has some sugarcane and apple.”

“Ressemble beaucoup à son homologue le 1999, il s'en rapproche beaucoup (et est sûrement moins cher) car il est bien marqué par son élevage en fût de Bourbon. C'est un beau produit mais je lui préfère d'autres agricoles que j'ai pu gouter sur le salon dans la meme gamme. (Après, c'est de la dégustation rapide dans un lieu pas ideal non plus, il faudrait le comparer avec le 99 dans de meilleures conditions)”
