How does this rum taste?
Most enjoy its soft sweetness, vanilla and balance. Critics find it thin, a bit flat and overpriced with a short finish. Consensus: a solid but unexciting Dominican crowd-pleaser.
If you enjoy Diplomatico-style sweetness and want something a bit cleaner and lighter, this fits well—but don’t expect deep complexity or a long finish.
Enthusiasts seeking high complexity, dry unsweetened profiles or intense funk; value-focused buyers may also find it too pricey for what it delivers.

What began as a digital tasting diary is now the world's most comprehensive platform for rum fans: over 25,000 bottlings, 270,000+ independent reviews, and an active community with 50,000 members. We combine the collective intelligence of our community with an integrated marketplace, allowing you to shop securely and manage your collection directly from the app.
The goal? To offer you, the rum connoisseur, a place where you can choose with confidence—without paperwork, detours, or expert jargon.

It does not smell bad at all, but in the mouth thin and stale. Guest rum.
Excellent. Great example of DR as one of the really good places to find quality spanish style rum.
Good good good Not much to say it's not bad, it's finer, balanced, not too sweet. Now, apart from vanilla and a few bonus notes, there's not much, and above all the finish is ultra-short.
Comme souvent avec les ron je trouve cela assez plat
