“The best dark Demerara I know. The dark caramel coloration is heavy on the rum: treacle, burnt sugar and charred barrel. Next to that is rum turned prunes with gravy, some coffee, cocoa and always a slight vegetalness in between that hits the mouth as lightly perfumed pipe tobacco and turns to eucalyptus on the finish. The alcohol is fantastically integrated. On the finish, the bitterness of the caramel is a bit too present for me, but otherwise close to Demerara perfection for my taste.”

“In the nose to fall in love - Guyana essence with great depth. On the palate and in the finish no longer quite at the same level, since a tick of complexity is missing for the very highest consecrations. In direct comparison with other Enmores from 1992, moreover, on the somewhat boisterous side, a bit more spicy-intense on the finish. Nevertheless, on a remarkable quality level.”
