“#4612 09.02.2024 Nordlichter treffen. This one could be a good mixer I think. Nose Light wood and roasted notes, fruity, vanilla, light nutts, faint polish. Palate Light oily, wood, light roasted, fruity, light herbs, caramel, warm. Finish Medium long, warm, dried fruit.”

“Beim Nordlichter Treffen verkostet - Danke, Henry! Zu meinen frühen Rumtagen habe ich diesen Rum vergeblich gejagt. Wes beschrieb ihn als den jungem Foursquare mit dem höchsten Potstill-Anteil. Das wollte ich für meine Drinks. Dem höheren Potstill-Anteil schmeckt mam m.E. im Vergleich zum Doorlys 3 yo tatsächlich. Dieser hier ist rauer mit leichten Estern und nicht gamz so cremig-weich wie der Doorlys. Hier fehlt die oft so typische Kokosnote, die Nüsse gehen eher Richtung Mandeln oder Haselnuss. Ich mag diese jungen bajan Rums gerne, auf diesen hier hätte sich die Jagd vermutlich Nicht gelohnt.”
