This is a blend of Pot and Column still rum (Halffunk). The nose is mild with aroma of vanilla. At the palate it’s round and mild with flavors of vanilla, raisins, some esters and lots of coconut. As a summary a nice and quite kind Jamaican.
With a medium long finish and thinking about the price tag, this is actually a good everyday rum. Fruity with spices from nose to finish. Ester and oak join in for the homerun. Price to quality is very good.
A gentle expression of fruity ester. Decently integrated cask, but some of the spice notes and astringency stick out a little in the context of the generalized tropical fruit. Tasty and unaggressive.
in the aroma of raisins pickled in the barrel, then tea leaves, smells pleasantly awfully long, finally fragrant damp wood that barrel in the taste at the beginning raisins very pronounced, then it changes to a spicy taste I find it quite strong despite the 40%. a glass or two in the evening = great
