The "Small Batch Rare Rums" was produced in Reunion at the Savanna distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler Rum Nation. It was distilled in 2006 and then aged for 10 years. Kein schlechter, aber eher uninteressanter Savanna.
Typische Nase nach ananas und Menthol und etwas Karamell. Geschmacklich dann leider etwas flach und kurzweilig und hauptsächlich würzig, rauchig und sehr Holzbetont. Etwas Menthol kommt durch und dezent erinnert er an Cognac... Definitiv viel zu wenig Frucht insgesamt auch kaum komplex und auch der Alkohol könnte besser integriert sein für gerade Mal 54,2%🤷🏼♂️
