“Nose: typical Port Mourant. Spicy-fruity, slightly sulfured dried apricot, waxy sweetness and fresh orange peel with vanilla. A bit of sour cherry and cardamom. Very pleasant, very nice.Palate: full-bodied and round, sweet-salty and spicy. Very clearly aniseed! Slightly woody, yet herbaceously fresh. There is also a little iodine here.Finish: slightly bitter, spicy-herbal and aniseedPalate and nose go well together. A beautiful and intense rum.”
