The "Nicaragua Rum" was produced in Nicaragua at the Compania Licorera distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler Samaroli. It was distilled in 1999 from Molasses with a Column Still and then aged for 15 years. The rum has an ABV of 45%. 22.08.2020 A nice tasting with only Samaroli and what an evening. Notes Medium dark in colour. Nose Fresh, light, light wood, vanilla, faint coffee, light nutts, fruits, light rubber. Palate Round, warm, light wood, herbs, light fruits, light floral, faint rubber, ginger. Finish Medium long, wood, light herbs, light licorice, fruits, light floral.
