How does this rum taste?
RumX members love how this 22-year Long Pond breaks the mold: low ester, very sweet wood and dried fruit instead of funk. The nose mixes raisin, dried apricot and bourbon barrel, while the palate brings tropical fruit, caramel, chocolate and gentle spice. Alcohol is described as very well integrated and “schön rund”. A rare CRV-mark single cask that fans find uniquely old school and elegant.

Unusual LP (in a positive sense!), little ester, lots of pleasantly sweet wood, drinkable! As an LP skeptic, I was absolutely convinced by the rum. But since I'm also known as a "farmer's palate", you don't have to take my word for it, but form your own tasting opinion. 😉
Surprisingly sweet sensation, misses zero esters, mega complex over time. Great alcohol integration, long finish.
