The "Jamaica High Proof" was produced in Jamaica at the Clarendon distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler Compagnie des Indes. It was distilled in 2007 from Molasses with a Pot Still and then aged for 11 years. The rum has an ABV of 55%. This rum is a big disappointment. I expected much more from this bottling. Best way to describe it, it is just alcohol diluted with water. After some time in the glass the rum opens a bit more. However, it stays a big disappointment.
