Very fruity nose. Despite the sherry storage, I perceive a slight stickiness as with uitvlugt. I like it very much. Still nice body for the 46%!
Surprisingly sweet... seems almost sugary, the sherry ageing is already very clearly recognizable here. All in all, a very relaxed rum that is quickly accessible and fun to drink.
26.10.2019 Friendly get together with a few new faces. Notes Very dark in colour. Nose Light, complex, wood, light roasted, faint smoke, nutts, citrus, light sugarcane, plum. Palate Oily, light, complex, wood, light roasted, naturally sweet, citrus, light grass, plum, light medicinal. Finish Medium to long, wood, fruits, light medicinal, oily, light licorice.
