How does this rum taste?
RumX members highlight Satara Horizon’s bold ester-driven cane character shaped by marked ex-bourbon cask notes. Expect fruity and woody aromas with allspice, leading to a lively, rustic palate of wood, spice and a touch of vegetal dryness. Several reviewers find the wood and high ABV well balanced, though a few note alcohol integration can feel sharp at first. A limited 282-bottle release that’s earning confident early reviews.

#5732 27.09.2025 Day one of the Whisky Live 2025, which this year looks better organized/arranged inside. I just like Mhoba because they try all kinds of stuff and they mostly succeed. This one is also pretty good with lots of fruit and light ester. Wood and ABV are in very good balance.
