#5735 27.09.2025 Day one of the Whisky Live 2025, which this year looks better organized/arranged inside. This was a nice surprice. A bottling where most things come together, ABV, Fruits, Wood and nice Spices. A very good rum in my mind.
Dégustation WLP2025. 👃&😋 Marqueurs Neisson bien présents ; fruits secs, agrumes confits, fruits à coques, léger caramel, vanille. Élégance du boisé fin de la distillerie, caractère agricole présent sous une canne à sucre ensoleillée et réconfortante. Une finale douce mêlant des épices insulaires, feuille de tabac doux, chocolat noir et cuir de reliure. Pas très empyreumatique par contre. À mettre en comparaison avec les 3 FP précédents qui semblent un cran au-dessus. À redécouvrir dans de meilleures conditions au calme. Recherche d'un sample.

Neisson & sa canne sont présents, mais bien masqué derrière d'autres arômes entêtants. En bouche, une belle onctuosité. Des notes de framboise, de mangue, de caramel, ainsi que des notes sucrées & acidulées. Un vrai petit bonbon, un peu moins torréfié pour le coup, mais puisqu'on remet le nez dans le verre à chaque fois... ça marche ! Pas tellement noté le fût de cognac pour le coup, mais ça m'a bien plût.
