It was distilled in 2020 from Sugar cane juice with a Pot Still and then aged for 5 years. The rum has an ABV of 50,1%. #5769 28.09.2025 Day two of the Whisky Live 2025, which this year looks better organized/arranged inside. I really like these Providence releases by Velier. They're usually pretty well balanced and exciting to both the nose and palate. This one is very fresh and green with som berries, acetone, nuts and light mint notes. In the back there is some wood and very light chocolate.
Whisky Live Paris 2025 - to be tasted again to confirm the score and notes. I was impressed by this one. 3yo 2020 was poor compared to 2019, a rum that I lover for its rough soul. Two more years of ageing added really a lot in terms of complexity, and that compensate a more balanced profile. What I clearly recall is a really long finish all on the sweet side
