RumX members praise Anniversary Cuvée #2 <>H as a very tasty, rounded Hampden with classic esters, glue and nail polish on the nose over tropical fruit, mango and papaya. After some aeration, it turns smoother and mildly sweet, with cookie dough, herbal-spicy notes and a long fruity finish. A limited 2014 cask-strength release that offers a gourmand, easygoing side of Hampden many find really interesting.

Definitely a rum that needs its time in the glass to breathe, otherwise you will be overwhelmed by the esters. After 30 minutes, a wonderful combination of tropical fruits, esters, nail polish and cookie dough, which linger deep into the finish.
Ein weiterer 2014er Hampden. Da hab es ja in den letzten zwei Jahren eine Menge. Im Grunde genommen eine solide Abfüllung, die aber meines Erachtens nicht mit den Konkurrenten im oberen Bereich mit spielen kann.
Le beau calendrier Swell nous réservait cette surprise ! Cuvée anniversaire 2 sans aucun doute à l’aveugle un Hampden, typique, avec quelques notes de fruits rouges amenés par le fut de TDL, des notes légèrement fumées aussi, et un petit côté herbacé. Simple et efficace !
Richtig guter Hampden. TDL Finish kann ich nicht erkennen. Macht den Hampden schön rund, aber verliert vielleicht etwas an Komplexität.
