The "MaCane Rum" was produced in Cuba. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler Schotman’s Barrel Selection. It was distilled in 2021 from Molasses with a Pot and Column Still and then aged for 5 years. The rum is bottled at cask strength and has an ABV of 57%. Goûté au German Rum Festival à Berlin. Un rhum cubain avec une fermentation incroyablement longue si j’ai bien compris. On parle ici de 6 mois de fermentation ! Un nez puissant, fermenté. Pas un nez cubain, des fruits tropicaux très mûrs et des esters. La bouche est semblable au nez, un peu plus ample et alcoolique. Les fruits trop mûrs d’abord, puis des esters domestiqués. La finale est plutôt longue, avec une belle acidité et toujours les fruits tropicaux trop mûrs.
Bottle Market Bremen Dezember 2025. Los geht es mit diesem Schotman's. Fruchtige Nase, auch tropische Früchte sind erkennbar, außerdem sehr mineralisch. Am Gaumen auch sehr fruchtig, außerdem etwas Karamell und leicht alkoholisch.
