A great rum. Unfortunately I would have liked a longer finish, but a great rum nonetheless.
Pleasant sweet balanced taste, caramel, honey, spices, maybe a little nutty and very very fine woodiness. Excellent light rum even for a beginner, the only weakness is the short and bland finish for me.
A good Rum. Mahogany color somewhat tending toward orange (certainly more so than its little brother 1985). The aroma is fantastic and includes classic vanilla, leather, tobacco, with some earthy notes. The taste is equally complex, pleasant and not too sweet, with natural flavors. If I really have to find two faults, the first is that I would have preferred a slightly higher alcohol content, while the second is the finish, which does not live up to everything else. The cork betrays the long time since bottling, but still retains its properties.
