The "Demerara Rum" was produced in Guyana at the Versailles distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler Samaroli. It was distilled in 1990 from Molasses and then aged for 17 years. The rum has an ABV of 45%. "Anotger really nice bottle. The ABV is rather low as well but it still carries a nice punch of complexity. Medium fruity with good balance between the fruit and roasted wood notes. Made a note that the empty glass had some licorice and tannin notes."
