The perfect TECA. Glue, acidity, citrus, varnish and yet a heavy sweetness. Extreme yet balanced. A true firework of aromas. Quite great cinema! 🧪💣
Long Pond at its best - very intense pleasure with abundant fruit, heavy sweetness and a good hint of spicy wood influence. Mouth filling aroma bomb.
long Pond in perfection! my absolute reference in terms of LP🙏🤤🥭🇯🇲 fully ripe mango & banana, caramel, almonds, dried dates, in the finish some cocoa, espresso, ginger, leather and barrel and brilliantly intense mint at the very end but then again coated in mango and almond. this thing must be made for Mai Tais🤤🥭🇯🇲❤️ Hammer! why didn't I discover it earlier?!!🙈😓 it's an absolute mystery to me how the other teca 15y can have such a completely different profile after rotten meat and this one is just so incredibly deliciously fruity, velvety and balanced! 😵🙈 New additional note: salt & vinegar chips + bacon + banana bread 🤣love it!!!
After opening the bottle, a fruity/ester/solvent fragrance immediately fills the room! In the glass, after resting for a while, the first impression is joined by delicate vanilla, marzipan and passoins fruit aromas... right up my alley! On the palate, a heavy sweetness at first...the rum spreads creamily, accompanied by tropical fruits, young wood/boughs, allspice and vanilla/aniseed! The alcohol is perfectly integrated...I could chew on it for hours! The finish is long and intense with tropical fruit (passion fruit), cardamom, young wood and light ester! I am thrilled! Edit: Tasted again today in a blind tasting by Mirco. At first I mistook it for the NRJ Teca... but that's because my bottle has been open longer and the rum is much smoother as a result.
