#5598 23.08.2025 Celebrating Michael's 50th birthday with some good rums. Nose Fresh, light wood, fruity, overripe, banana, light citrus, faint chocolate, light glue. Palate Fresh, light oily, light wood, faint smoke, overripe, banana, light mango, light glue, light caramel, faint chocolate. Finish Long and warm, light wood, fruity, naturally sweet, light caramel, light citrus. Needs to rest for a while to really open up properly.
Intense and with lot of Long Pond funk. Lacks complexity for a higher score, however.
