How does this rum taste?
What RumX members love most is the full-on C<>H funk: intense esters with overripe pineapple and tropical fruit, echoed by cookie dough and a light solvent note. Despite its young 6 years and 67.6% ABV, reviewers find the alcohol well integrated, with a long, warm finish and a touch of smoke. Let it rest in the glass. A limited 187-bottle release, well rated by 14 RumX members.

What a cracker! A real ester bomb with a strong tropical fruit basket, especially pineapple. The same profile prevails from nose to finish. In addition to esters and tropical fruits, lots of cookie dough/pastry and some young wood. Simply awesome!
Brief first impression: Yes, it's pretty tasty. <>But I still like H better. It's good to take with you, but for me personally it's not a must-have if you already have some High-Ester Hampden.
My favorite brand! Really good Hampden that is already very balanced despite its young age!
Fun Hampden with the typical profile of tropical fruits (especially pineapple), esters and a hint of varnish. The alcohol content cannot be denied, but is still appropriate. To be fair, it's not an over-Hampden either. It would be even more fun if it were more affordable.
